At November 17 and 18 the Supporting Digital Humanities (SDH) conference took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Folkert de Vriend and Martin Snijders presented the COAVA project. At october 26th some COAVA members visited Steven Gillis (University of Antwerp). Steven Gillis was so kind to brainstorm with us about some difficulties and provided us with his digital lexicon which we are now using for the COAVA project.

Welcome on the COAVA-website. The COAVA project is a cooperation between the Meertens institute, Tilburg University and Maastricht University. COAVA stands for COgnition, Acquisition and VAriation Tool. COAVA is a CLARIN project and targets at interdisciplinary research into the relation between language acquisition and language variation by developing a tool for easily exploring the linguistic characteristics of concepts.
